Cambodge (French for Cambodia)
I headed off with Mum and Dad from Pattaya for a long weekend in Cambodia (we were up at the usual craziness of 3:30am or so - nasty!) and flew over to Siem Reap (a short one hour flight), the closest city to Angkor Wat.
Our very nice driver for the weekend was Mr Chay and we spent the weekend bouncing in the back of his tuk tuk, drinking copious amounts of bottled water and touring Wat after Wat.

In order to show respect to the temples, attire must cover shoulders and knees. In the 35'C and high humidity conditions, we went through a lot of water!

| Such detail! |
Our first stop on Friday was straight to Angkor Wat, it is pretty incredible. Whilst enjoying the amazing atmosphere, you are interrupted by an almost constant stream of 'plleeeeaaase miss, ooonly a dollarrrrr' from the local children trying to sell bangles, carvings, pirate books and all manner of things.
We toured Wat after Wat for our three days and even took a trip out to the Tonle Sap for a boat ride out to see a floating village. That's enough text for me, check out the photos!
